边缘检测是图像检索的关键技术之一。边缘检测方法比较多,但这些算法各有自己的特点和特定的应用领域。现在提出一种新的边缘检测算法,该算法以小波分析为基础,通过对原始图像进行小波变换实现边缘检测,具有良好的检测效果。

Edge detection is one of the key techniques of image retrieval.Though there are many edge detection methods,these methods have their own application territories.A new edge detection algorithm which is based on wavelet analysis and wavelet transform is concluded.That algorithm has an excellent detection result.
