Coal Swelling Behavior in Solvents at Different Temperatures

摘要 溶胀是煤直接液化升温过程中粘度发生变化的主要原因之一。本文研究了不同温度下两种煤在有机溶剂中的溶胀度变化。结果表明:在极性溶剂中,煤化程度较小的神华煤的溶胀性比新庄煤大,而在非极性溶剂四氢萘中,情况相反;温度升高加快了煤的溶胀速率,且对煤的溶胀度大小有影响;煤的溶胀度与煤和溶剂的溶解度参数有关,溶剂对煤的溶解能力越大,则煤在该溶剂中的溶胀度越大。 Coal swelling is one of the major factors causing viscosity change during direct coal liquefaction. The swelling behavior of two kinds of coal in three organic solvents at different temperatures was studied. In polar solvents, the swelling ratio of Shenhua coal was larger than that of Xinzhuang coal having a high coal rank; however, in non-polar solvent tetralin, it was smaller. A higher temperature produced a faster rate of coal swelling and a larger swelling ratio. Coal swelling ratio was found to be dependent on the solubility of coal in solvent; the more soluble coal has a larger swelling ratio.
