摘要
提出了基于边缘直方图的一种快速识别方法 ,对汽车标志可以进行高准确度的识别。边缘直方图能够比较准确地反映图像的边缘和纹理信息 ,不同类图像反映出的统计特性能比较准确地用于分类识别。通过大量的试验证明使用提取边缘直方图和相关算法相结合的方法比一般的识别方法更加快速、有效。
An improved method of feature extraction based on edge directions is proposed and applied in Vehicle Logo Recognition(VLR).Edge directions is used to represent the shape attribute and the texture,which is used to be recognize the different images.Experimental results show this method is more effective than the other general methods.
