摘要 A novel starch derivative--carboxyl methyl starch (CMS) was investigated in this paper. Through a series of experiments, the results showed that CMS has considerable effect on paper strength as internal additive, and the better technology conditions are as follows: pH=7.0, CMS dosage is 1.0% (on o.d. pulp), mixing time is 45min and drying temperature is 105℃.
