四川卵翅蝗属一新种(直翅目:蝗总科)

A NEW SPECIES OF CARYANDA FROM SICHUAN, CHINA (ORTHOPTERA: ACRIDOIDEA)

本文记述在四川重庆采到的卵翅蝗属新种突缘卵翅蝗Caryanda prominemargina Xie et Zheng。该新种近似于四川卵翅蝗Caryanda methiola Chang和峨眉卵翅蝗Caryanda omeiensis Chang。正模、配模标本保存于陕西师范大学生物系,副模标本保存于西南师范大学生物系。

This paper reports a new species of Caryanda St(?)i. from Sichuan Province in West China Hoiotype and allotype are preserved in the Department of Biology, Shaanxi Normal University, paratypes in the Department of Biology, Southwest China Teachers University.Caryanda prominemargina sp. nov. (figs. 1—5)This new species resembles Caryanda methiola Chang and Caryanda omeiensis Chang, but differs from them in the following characters: prosternal process almost triangiar in shape, elytra obtusely rounded at apex; posterior margin of female subgenital plate rectangularly protruded, with a notch at apex; the length of interspace of mesosternal lobes less than 4 times of its minimal width. Also, the new species differs from the C. methiola in having the posterior margin of female pronotum nearly straight, with a small notch in the middle, and differs from C. omeiensis in the pronotum without a broad longitudinal black band.Length of body: (?)23—24, ♀ 28—31.8mm. Length of elytra: (?)4.5—5, ♀ 5.6—6mm. Length of hind femur: (?)13.5—14.4, ♀ 16—216.5mm.Holotype (?), allotype ♀, paratype 1(?)2♀, Sichuan: Beibei Area (Mt.
