云南蚋属一新种及一新纪录种(双翅目:蚋科)

ON A NEW SPECIES AND A NEW RECORD OF SIMULIUM FROM YUNNAN,CHINA (DIPTERA:SIMULIIDAE)

本文报道采自云南怒江流域的蚋属的一新种,怒江蚋Simulium(S.)nujiangense sp.nov.各虫态的描述及云南西南地区一新纪录种,昌隆纳Simulinm(S.)chamlongi Takaoka 1983 新种模式标本及新纪录种标本均保存于云南省流行病防治研究所。

The present paper deals with a new species and a new record of Simulium from Yunnan,China. Simulium (Simulium) nujiangense sp. nov. The new species is very similar to Simulium (S) chiangmaiense Takaoka 1984, but distin-guished by: spermatheca ellipsoidal in shape, mesonotum without 5 longitudinal dark stripes,pupa gill with 9 filaments all directed forwards, the third basal stallk with 3 filaments, elsearranged in pairs, the upper 3 pairs of filaments inflated to various extent near base and ta-pered distally, larva body length 6.0 mm, postgenal cleft enlarged and round. Holotype , paratype 1, pupa and 3 larvae. collected from small stream in Baoshan Coun-ty (25.1°N, 99.1°E), Yunnan, 19. V. 1984, All specimens are kept in the Research Institute ofEpidemic Diseases of Yunnan Province, China. Simuliam (Simulium) Chamlongi Takaoka, 1983 New record from China.
