尖柱线虫属一新种(圆线亚目:毛圆科)

A NEW SPECIES OF OBELISCOIDES (STRONGYLATA:TRICHOSTRONGYLIDAE)

本文报道草兔胃内的四川尖柱线虫,新种 Obliscoides sichuanensis sp.nov.本新种同已知种有明显不同。

Obeliscoides sichuanensis sp. nov. (figs. 1--7) Holotype ,allotype ,paratype 38 ,5 were collected from the stomach of rab-bit, Lepus capensis aurigneus Hollister obtained locally at Nanchong County(31. 17°N, 166. 8°E), Sichuan Province. Type specimens are deposited in the Department of Parasitology, North Sichuan MedicalCollege, Sichuan, China. Body filiform. reddish. cuticle with transverse striations and longitudinal ridges. Buccal cavity lacks. Cervical and prebursal papillae present. Male Body length 9. 60--12. 10mm. Bursa well developed with two large lateral lobesand a small symmetrical dorsal lobe. The dorsal ray with two lateral branches at 1/3 from thedistal end, the main stalk divided into two branches in distal 1/4, each subdivided into twosmall branches. Still ventral being a small median lobe supported by a median ray forked attip. Spicule equal in size and similar in shape, length 0. 318--0. 325mm. The spicules havetwo inner small branches at about distal 1/3 and a barb at distal. No gubernaculum. Female Body length 12. 9--17. 71mm. Prevulval lobe and longitudinal ridges in regionposterior to the anus present. Discussion The new species is clearly distinguished from other species of the genus. O. cuniculi cuniculi and O. cuniculi multistriatus lack the inner branch and have two distalbarbs of spicule. Their females lack both prevulval lobe and longitudinal ridges in the regionposterior to the anus. O. travassosi has only an inner branch of spicule. Although O. pentalagi and O. leporishave also two inner branches of spicule, O. pentalagi has two distal barbs of spicule, spiculelonger and its bursa lacks median lobe and median ray. O. leporis has a distal blunt projectionof spicule, and the two branches of dorsal ray do not subdivided.
