辽宁棘蝇属一新种及一新亚种(双翅目:蝇科)

A NEW SPECIES AND A NEW SUBSPECIES OF PHAONIA FROM LIAONING,CHINA (DIPTERA:MUSCIDAE)

本文记述采自辽宁省东部山区的蝇科棘蝇属 Phaonia R.-D,1830一新种和一新亚种.模式标本保存于沈阳师范学院昆虫研究所。

Among the specimens coflected from mountainous region in the Benxi Prefecture ofLiaoning Province (41°15′N, 124°40′E), there have been found one new species and one newsubspecies of the genus Phaonia R. -D., The type specimens are kept in the Institute of Ento-mology Shenyang Normal College. 1. Phaonia maculierrans sp. nov. (figs. 1--4) It somewhat resembles Phaonia benxiensis Xue et Yu, 1986, but differs from the latter inthe frons being rather broad, 8 to 9 inferior orbitals exted to front ocellus, acrostichal bristles(3--4) +1, near the r-m and m-m cross veins clouded, inner process of apical part of cercusshorter. Hootype , 4. Ⅺ. 1989, collected by Xue Wan-qi. 2. Phaonia tiefii subaureola ssp. nov. (figs. 5--7) Eyes of male bare, mid femur without bristles on the basal half of posteroventral sur-face. By these characters, the pressent subspecies can be readily distinguished from the nomi-nated subspecies, Phaonia tiefii tiefii (Schnabl). Holotye , 3, Ⅺ. 1989, collected by Xue Wan-qi.
