摘要 Mansonic schistosomiasis is the main cause of portal hypertension in Brazil. Hepatosplenic (HS) form is manifested by hepatomegaly mainly on the left hepatic lobe associated with large splenomegaly and bleeding due to esophageal varices with high mortality rates.
