中西方传统建筑是世界上两个主要的建筑体系,在世界建筑史都占有极其重要的地位。纵观中西方传统建筑发展的历史,建筑与装饰都有着密不可分的渊源。建筑装饰艺术是建筑文化的体现,是世界文化遗产的一个重要组成部分。随着信息社会的到来,全球一体化的信息交流,文化交流正在加速。随之而来,在建筑设计领域也掀起了欧陆风,西方传统建筑装饰艺术在我国的建筑领域也盛行起来,西方传统建筑装饰上的柱式、山花、涡卷、铁花栏杆、花坛、线脚等等随处可见。我们既不一概反对在中国建筑领域采用西方传统建筑装饰艺术,也不能盲目崇洋媚外,生搬硬套。本文通过中西方传统建筑装饰艺术比较,想对这个问题有个正确看法。

With the coming of information society and the global unified information communication , culture cimmunication is accelerating. Subsequently, the European Land Wind is risen in the field of architecture design. The west traditional architectural adornment art becomes fashionable in the field of Chinese architecture. We are not completely against to adort west tradition architeural adornment art, can not regard the foreign is better than the Chinese with blindness, and copy totally from the foreign.
