As a new value-added service,cell broadcasting can bring potential benefits for mobile operators.This paper introduce the features and new services of cell broadcasting system.Then,the structure of CBS and framework in wireless network are discussed in detail.Finally,the mode of profit and the development perspective of cell broadcasting system are addressed.
