多元文化心理学内涵辨析

Analyzing the Implications of Multicultural Psychology

由于多元文化心理学出现较晚 ,以及其它涉及文化因素的心理学研究取向的存在 ,影响到研究者们对其内涵的认识。通过整合不同的观点 ,本文认为多元文化心理学是针对传统心理学研究中存在的“文化中心主义”与“种族中心主义”倾向而出现的一种强调文化的多样性、差异性与平等性的心理学研究取向 ,它的内涵不仅体现在其研究对象与方法上 ,并且体现在作为一种心理学研究的指导原则的精神实质中。

As multicultural psychology emerged not long ago,and with the existence of other cultural orientations in psychology research,its implications to the psychology is not very explicit.After synthesizing the different perspectives on it,the implications can be traced from two directions:one regards the multiculturalism in psychology as a guideline for the research and practice;the other takes it as a pointer that concretely demonstrates the domain and methodology of the psychology research and practice.
