From the extract of siphonostegiae, a new compound was isolated and its stereostructure wasdeduced by 1D and 2D-NMR and other spectrometric data, its ~1H and ^(13)H C-NMR peakswere also assigned. A name, siphonostegiol, was nominated to, this new compound.
