美术作品篇幅大小,取决于内容的需要和悬挂场所的需要;画家名次的大小,取决于作品的影响力和艺术创新。把作品尺寸大小等同画家名次大小的提法,实在不妥,并且容易引起误解。

The size of a painting depends on the requirement of the content and the place where it is hung. The popularity of a painter depends on the influence of his works and originality. To identify the size of a painting with the popularity of a painter is inappropriate and misleading.
