进程与轻型进程

Process and light-weight process

进程是一个资源拥有者 ,因而在进程的创建、撤消和切换中 ,系统必须为之付出较大的时空开销。线程能使多个程序更好地并发执行 ,同时又尽量减少系统的开销。

Process is owner of resource. The system spends great cost when process is created, released and dispatched. Not only can thread increase the concurrence of programs, but also it can minimize the cost of operating system.
