Asian Regionalism Contrasted with European Integration

与欧洲一体化比较,亚洲地区主义表现出市场导向型、弱机制性、区域认同薄弱、网络结构、开放松散多元和求同存异的特点;其成因主要在于亚洲地区目前所处的特定文化发展阶段、美国政策影响、地区主导国的缺失、不同的国内社会结构和现代化程度不同等因素的作用。从欧亚地区一体化的比较考察中获取的经验和启示值得其他有志于一体化的区域借鉴与思考。

Compare with European Integration, Asian Regionalism has shown some features like: market guiding, lack of mechanisms, weak regional recognition, web structure, open and loosely organized, and differences reserved. The major causes of them should be the special developing stages of the cultures, the influence of U.S. policies, lack of leading country, different social structures and different degree of modernization among Asian countries, and so on. We make a comparison between Asian and European Integrations, and find some experiences and inspirations, which we hope can be used for your reference or draw your attention to the problem.
