The diplomatic relations among China, Japan and the USSR had been changed after the Japanese troops invaded China in 1930s. On the one hand, Japan took careful diplomatic policy to guard the USSR's interfering, on the other hand, under the flag of anti-Soviet and anti-Communism, Japan bargained with the Western Countries about their policy of appeasement, and formed a hard line of 'attacking in order to defending' towards the USSR. On the contrary, the USSR even adopted 'non - interference' Policy towards the Japanese invasion to avoid drawing fire against itself, the USSR occupied and controlled border areas of China to aid China openly to pin Japanese military power down. This paper suggests that the focus of conflicts of USSR-Japan diplomatic relations in 1930s was their interests in China. Japan attempted to occupy China exclusively and prevented USSR's interference. USSR, however, attempted to prevent China as a base of Japanese invasion to the USSR. While China, making use of the conflicts between Japan and Soviet Union, strove for its independence and the territorial integrity.
