On Positive Role of Chinese in College English Teaching

在大学英语教学中合理使用汉语是非常必要的,它不仅不会影响学生对英语的学习,而且会大幅度提高学生学习英语的水平,并能尽快达到《大纲》规定的教学要求。

Based on the relevant theories and the relevant theories of teaching method, the present paper aims at the positive role of Chinese in college English teaching. By means of a set of English test and questionnaire, the study shows that it is very necessary to use Chinese in college English class, it can enhance the students' English study instead of impeding the students' English study.
