A Tentative Study on Applying ESP in Effective ELT in China

It is only until recently that professional attention has focused clearly on the idea of EOP/FAP teaching. Closely matching teaching contents to learners' requirements, ESP seems to be the ideal answer to the charge of inappropriateness in language teaching in many countries. A large number of practitioners suggest that, ESP is, above all, a concept
