修改宪法是国家政治经济生活中的一件大事 ,是当代中国法治建设的理论和实践活动中备受关注的重大议题 ,也是关系中华民族长治久安、兴衰荣辱的一个战略性问题。贯彻实施宪法 ,推进依法治国 ,必须切实维护宪法权威。维护宪法权威 ,要增强宪法意识 ,树立宪法至上的观念 。

It is a significant event that revising a constitution in political and economic life of a state, which not only an agenda drawn untold attention in present theory and practice of rule-of-law construction, but a strategic problem affecting lasting political stability or decline, honour or disgrace of Chinese people. We must defend the constitution authority so as to implement the enforcement of the constitution and manage the state affairs according to law; we must defend the constitution authority so as to establish the sense of constitution supremacy, heighten our constitution consciousness and carry out the constitution effectively.
