《绿色化学》教学中采用英语课件汉语讲解方法初探

Study of the method using slides in English with Chinese explanation in teaching green chemistry

在《绿色化学》教学中 ,采用英语课件、汉语讲授的方法。本文对学生关于这一教学方法的反馈意见进行分析。结果表明 ,大学生适应双语教学的主要困难是语言 ;双语教学宜在适当时机引入 ,大三是一个较好的时机 ;教学宜先英语板书、汉语讲解 ,其后循序渐进 ;双语专业课教学应有适当的课程体系与之配套 ,要注意教学方法和教学手段。双语教学可使学生在提高专业水平的同时提高英语水平 ,一举两得 。

English courseware with Chinese explanation is used in teaching Green Chemistry. After 3 weeks' practice, the opinion of the students are collected and analyzed. It is found that the most common difficulty for the students to have benefits and accept this method is English level. The beginning of the third academic year is the proper time to commence bilingual teaching for undergraduate students. At first, explanation in Chinese is necessary for a better understanding compensating with the use of English courseware, and then more English could be provided progressively. On the other hand, the teaching system should also cooperative, that is, other courses which are compensative to the bilingual course should also be provided. English courseware is stimulative to Chinese students, but difficulties including taking not, habit, etc are also encountered. Thus, more lively and inspiring skill and methodology in teaching should also be taken. The students could gain double benefit by understanding chemistry as well as improving English level.
