美国在研究型大学中建立国家实验室的启示

Revelations from National Labs in Research Universities in USA

美国一批顶尖一流大学的崛起与其代管的国家实验室息息相关。本研究建议:在研究型大学组建一批能够瞄准国家战略目标和世界科技前沿、致力于战略科技领域重大攻关和前沿基础研究、代表国家最高水平的国家实验室,通过组建国家实验室整合国家科技资源,将重大科技攻关和前沿基础研究项目投向国家实验室。

In USA,the success of world-class universities is linked to the national labs administrated by them. Based on the research on the national labs in the research universities in USA, this paper comes to the following conclusions: (1) it is necessary for the research universities in China to establish their own national labs which can focus on state strategical objectives and frontier of world sciences, so as to commit themselves to the tackling of the key problems in scientific field as well as frontier and basic sciences;(2) China should establish national labs to integrate and regulate national resources in science and technology of China and make them play an important role in the research of science and technology in China.
