Supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), as a powerful complementary for gas chromatography and liquid chromatography, can be utilized to analyze thermally unstable compounds and substances with low volatility. SFC can be also used to investigate the molecular interactions involved in the supercritical fluids. This paper reviewed the recent development and applications of supercritical fluid chromatography.
