古代的许多民族都曾有过收继婚姻的习俗。元代蒙古族入主中原 ,曾在中原地区汉族之中推行这种婚俗。但到后来 ,收继婚俗在汉族和蒙古族中都发生了一些变化。这是由社会的和经济的文化的多方面因素决定的。

The succession of marriage had arisan in many nations of ancient China. In Yuan Dynasty, Mongolia carried out it in the Han people in Central Plains. Later, changes of the succession in Mongolia and the Han people had taken place. The social factor and economic factor detrmined its exist.
