略论20世纪上半期的苏北农村教育问题

On the Problems of the Rural Education of North Jiangsu Province

20世纪上半期的苏北农村教育相对滞后,导致其产生的原因主要有社会与教育界自身两大因素,而教育落后对苏北社会所产生的不利影响则表现在乡村社会秩序紊乱、匪化现象严重,农业生产技术落后,愚昧、落后的社会习俗依旧盛行等方面。

The rural education of North Jiangsu Province was less developed than that of the Southern. The two elements of society and educational surrounding directly hampered the development of education in North Jiangsu. Consequently, the negative effects brought by backward education were presented in many aspects, such as the disorder of society, increasing criminals, backward agriculture production technique and obstinate and benighted social customs.
