Globalization and the Intercommunion of Eastern & Western Culture

文化全球化需要多元文化的共同参与,东方文化有责任与西方文化一同来维护全球文化的生态平衡。西方文化现代性的发生、发展保持着先行的位置,但这只能说明其在这一历史发展阶段具有领先性,并不足以说明其全部文化的完美性。东方文化所包含的智慧、哲学与精神有其自身的魅力,同时,它必然会随着东方文化现代性的发展而在世界文化格局中发出光彩。

Cultural globalization needs the intercommunion of multi cultures. Eastern culture should keep up the ecological balance together with the western culture. Although the western culture takes lead in modernity, the whole cultures are not perfect. The eastern culture has its own characteristics because of its wisdom, philosophy and spirit; in the meanwhile with the development of modernity the eastern culture will exude charm in the global cultural pattern.
