摘要 “支架”理论自问世以来，受到语言学界和应用语言学界的极大关注。它不仅具有重大的理论价值，而且在外语教学中具有广泛的应用价值。本文旨在通过探讨“支架”理论在英语写作教学中的应用，提升教学理念和改进教学方法、教学效果，提高学生的书面表达能力，促进外语教学改革。 Scaffolding has drawn great attention among linguists. Apart from its great theoretical value in linguistic study, scaffolding is highly valued in many disciplines. The article mainly deals with its application in the teaching of English writing, which will intensify the reform of foreign language teaching in China.
