As the Joint Planning Network in the U.S. Navy Network-Centric Warfare infostructure, the Global Command and Control System-Maritime (GCCS-M) provides C 4I capability and aids the operational commander in the decision-making. GCCS-M provides the ability to build and maintain a COP to maritime units and share that battlespace awareness with Joint forces. This paper describes the GCCS-M program development from toplevel vision.
