摘要
目前语言与性别差异研究存在着两元论和多元论之争。通过对四个话语策略——话语量、附加问句、闪避词使用和谈话打断的分析 ,我们可以发现性别话语风格是相对的 ,除受交际者的性别制约外 ,还受交际场合、话题、交际者之间的角色关系以及社会文化规约等多种因素的影响 ,因而呈现出相对性、互动性、多元性的特点。只有从情景研究模式入手 ,我们才能更加准确定位并解释言语交际中的性别差异。这也体现了语言与性别研究正从静态走向动态。
There exist disputes over binary thinking and pluralistic thinking on the study of language and gender today. By analyzing four linguistic strategies,namely, the amount of talk, tag questions, hedges and interruptions, we can find that the style differences in male and female conversation are also constrained by such factors as setting, topic, role relationships and socio-cultural conventions apart from gender. Therefore, male and female conversational styles are relative, interactive and pluralistic. Only from a situational perspective can we better locate and interpret gender differences in speech communication. This also reflects a gradual shift from static-and-macro research to dynamic-and-micro research in language and gender study.
