Maximum Power Limit of Doubly-Fed Synchronous Induction Generator and Its Parallel Operation with an Infinite Bus

By means of space vector, this paper works out a mathematical model for the doubly-fed induction machine. Doubly-fed synchronous induction generator driven with twice synchronous speed is a special example of this machine. This paper analyses the rela- tionship between the maximum power limit or the doubly-fed generator and that of the conventional induction generator. It discusses also the parallel operation of the doubly-fed generator with an infinite bus.
