摘要
在传统的玩具设计中,布绒玩具的设计是一个复杂过程。文中提出两个算法:三维表面区域搜索算法和三维曲面展开算法并应用于玩具设计。在三维玩具CAD模型的基础上,该方法将三维的玩具表面自动展开为二维的裁片。运用该方法,用户可以容易地交互操作进行玩具表面切割线的设计,同时可以设置纹理,从而大大减少了玩具的设计与制作时间,降低成本。
Traditionally, designing patterns of staffed toys is a time-consuming process. This paper introduces a new method of designing two-dimensional patterns of staffed toys. The method is based on an algorithm of 3D surface expanding. Starting from a 3D toy CAD model, sewing lines are first drawn on the surface to separate the surface of 3D model into several patches, then, each patch is flattened into a 2D pattern automatically. In the system, the user can easily design sewing lines and set textures in an interactive way, therefore, the time and cost of designing staffed toys can be reduced significantly.
