摘要
作为FACTS家族的一个成员,晶闸管控制的串联电容补偿器(简称“可控串联补偿器”-TCSC)由于可以有效地控制潮流,提高线路的输送能力,再加上结构简单、性价比高,越来越受到电力工业界的重视。但作为串联补偿装置,其运行的可靠性,特别是对次同步谐振(SSR)的抑制能力也是用户关注的焦点。文中根据国外TCSC装置10多年的运行经验指出只要对控制器本身及其与系统的关系进行深入地研究分析,完全可以有效地解决SSR等困扰常规串联补偿装置的问题,达到提高线路输送能力的目的。
As one of FACTS devices, thyristor controlled series capacitors (TCSCs) can effectively increase the power transfer capability of transmission lines. Together with its simple configuration and high cost performance, TCSCs are the preference in power flow control. However, the capability in mitigation of subsynchronous resonance is a matter of the utmost concern for many utilities in decision-makings. This paper investigates the control strategies, design principles and operation experiences with TCSCs, and shows that TCSCs may provide all the benefits of controllable series compensation without SSR emerging if the suitable control strategies are applied.
