The Use of Virtex-Ⅱ Pro in Large Hard Disk Data Storage System

简要介绍Virtex ⅡPro中PowerPC核模块的特点 ;详细介绍了集成驱动电子组件(IDE)接口硬盘控制寄存器模型 ;简述了IDE接口硬盘读写的几项技术。在此基础上 ,给出了数据高速流盘的思想和方法 ,实现了利用硬盘作为存储载体的高速大容量数据存储系统 ,解决了便携式系统大容量数据存储的问题。

The characteristic of Virtex ⅡPro's core PowerPC, the module of hard disk control registers for IDE interface, and the methods of reading from and writing to IDE hard disk are presented in this paper. Basing on this, the method of writing data to hard disk quickly is presented. The author realizes a fast and large capacity storage system using common hard disk to record and gives an answer to the problem of storage of large data in portable instruments. The instrument developed by the author may be applied in many instances.
