Early technology and devices of power quality monitoring system(PQMS)can not fulfill the measurement of transient PQ parameters in modern society.In this paper,we analyzed the indexes and requirement of new PQ measurement technology, and introduced a new scheme of distributed PQMS in section 1 and 2.Then we discussed the characteristic and design method of distributed PQMS'hardware, and analyzed the application of DSP,GPS and TCP/IP technique in the practical device of PQMS in section 3.
