On the Quality of Urban Residential from a Point of Density

以南京地区几个典型社区的调研为基础,分析当前城市居住密度和居住质量之间的关系。将居住密度细分为多项指标,以每个单项指标分别与居住质量的调研结果进行对比分析,得出密度各项指标与居住质量之间相关联的紧密程度,探讨居住密度对城市居民生活质量所产生的影响。这是从密度的角度探讨提高城市居住质量与城市生活品质的方法。

This paper is an analysis of the relationship betweenresidential density and residential quality, and it is also a study onthe influence of density to residential quality by an investigation inNanjing, China. After subdividing the concept of residential den-sity into several index indicators, we contrast each single index tothe result of our investigation and analysis the relation betweeneach index and residential quality. Then, we can get a deepercognition of this problem. At the same time, we propose a viewpointof how to improve the urban residential quality and living quantityby the control of density indexes.
