An Effective Measure of Increasing Grain Yield in the Arid and Semiarid Areas-Divertng Flood Water for Siltation

调查和资料分析认为,引洪漫地是一项费省效宏的措施,它可以改变土壤理化性状和土壤结构,提高土壤肥力,增加土壤水分,达到增加作物产量的目的,而且也能用来压沙压碱,改良农田。通过总结黄土高原地区现有的引洪漫地措施,提出了引洪慢地发展缓慢的原因及对策,探讨了本区发展引洪漫地的必要性和可行性。

It holds through investigations and data analysis that diverting flood water for silta-tion is an effective measure of saving the funds with great economic returns. It can im-prove soil physical chemical properties,soil structure and soil fertility and increase soilmoisture so as to achieve crop high yields. Also,it can burry sands and alkaline and im-prove farmlands. This paper sums up the existing me sures of diverting flood water forsiltation and suggests some countermeasures and causes of slow development of diver-ting flood water for siltation. Also it deals with the necessity and feasibility of develo-ping diverting flood water for siltation in this region.
