The establishment of kM local network system in Thermal Power Research Institute under State Power Corp has been presented, including kM ether network technology, VLAN gradation technology, antivirus system of the network, data reserving portion system, and internal scientific research information inquiring system. The said system is stable in operation, it's performance being in conformity with requirements.
