摘要
古典范畴化理论认为范畴边界应该清晰、范畴内部各成员地位相等.20世纪70年代提出的原型说却对此提出了质疑.它从认知角度出发,按照典型成员与非典型成员之间的相似程度和相互关系处理模糊问题.本文阐述原型说的来源和主要内容,并以此为理论依据,分析普通范畴的模糊性.
Classical categorization theory holds that category should have clear cut demarcation and equal membership in status. However, the prototype theory put forward in the 1970s challenged this classical theory. Adopting a cognition approach to semantics, prototype theory deals with fuzziness in terms of the relationship between typical and non typical members. This thesis intends to introduce its origin and main contents as well as analyze the fuzziness of common categories on the basis of the theory.
