摘要
外语课堂交际活动有它自身特定的方式、规律和规则.师生间为完成某种教学目标所进行的交际明显不同于人们日常生活中的交际活动.在课堂上,学生使用语言参与课堂交际的积极性和能力发挥得好坏,在很大程度上取决于课堂交际模式的引导.本文重点探讨了I-R-F三分结构这一典型的课堂话语交际模式以及教师在这一模式中应起的作用.
It has been accepted that the ESL classroom communication has its unique dynamics which is different from social authentic communication. If teachers understand how the dynamics of classroom communication influence second language students' participation in classroom activities, they may be better able to monitor and adjust the patterns of classroom communication in order to create an environment that will promote both classroom learning and L2 acquisition. This article focuses on the most common classroom discourse pattern, the I-R-F chains and what role teachers may play in it.
