The Similarity and Differences Between Distance Education and Traditional Education

该文从学校教育的组成要素和教育的规范程度探讨了远程教育与传统教育两种教育形态的共性,从教育的时空、面授的连续程度和教学模式三方面分析了两者的差异和联系。认为一方面,不能简单套用传统教育的做法,另一方面,要从传统教育理论中吸取营养,发展远程教育理论体系。

There are both common characters and remarkable differences between distance education and traditional education. Similarity on scholastic constituent elements and the features of formal education are discussed. Their difference is analyzed from the space-time, the continuity of tutoring and instructional model, giving insight to the practice and research of distance education.
