Effect of Artificial Feeding on Pigeons at Different Age

摘要 以10日龄和15日龄乳鸽进行人工哺喂至28日龄,用同日龄自然哺育的乳鸽作对照,测定了体增重和亲鸽产蛋间隔。结果,10日龄和15日龄人工哺喂组体重提高6.04%(P<0.01)和8.53%(P<0.01),亲鸽产蛋间隔分别缩短11.4天(P<0.01)和9.41天(P<0.01),人工哺喂可明显提高体增重,缩短产蛋间隔。人工哺喂组间各指标无明显差异。人工哺喂从15日龄开始,可获得与10日龄开始同样的效果。 The Pigeons artificially fed from age of 10-days and 15-days to age of 28 days were compared with the pigeons naturally fed at the same age. Live weight gain and laying interval of all pigeons were measured.The results showed that the body weight of groups artificially fed from 10-days and 15-days old increased by 6.04 percent(P<0.01) and 8.53 percent (P<0.01), respectively. The laying interval of parent pigeons decreased 11.4 days(P<0.01) and 9.14 days (P<0.01), respectively. There were no significant difference between the groups artificially fed. Feeding from 15-days old could have the same effect as feeding from 10-days old.
