Deng Xiaoping creatively put forward the idea of paralleling supervision between the party's leaders. He has paid enough attention on the combination of supervision within the party with that without the party, and emphasized the necessity for establishing a supervision system for the ruling party characterized with multiple channels and plural dimensions. Deng's thought of the party supervision has elucidated in depth the rules for constructing the supervision system of a ruling party. This effort has become the theoretical foundation for the development of the party's supervision institution, and provided a scientific guidance for drafting the supervision regulations within the communist party.
