The fact and characters of the danger of fire in high-rise buildings were described, then the achievements of researches in China and overseas on high-rise Building fire smoke movement were introduced respectively.The existing problems needed to be solved were pointed out. At last, a method of zone model to realize the computer simulation of high-rise bnilding fire smoke movement was given.
