摘要
分析了多媒体无线传输模型 ,并讨论其中的信源编码失真度DS、信道传输失真度DC、系统总体失真度D及其相互的关系 .着重研究了多媒体数据信道传输失真度DC 的计算 ,同时基于精细粒度分层编码的码流特点 ,提出了一种简单有效的信道传输失真度预测算法 .结合PFGS分层编码和turbo码 ,对整个多媒体数据传输进行了仿真 ,仿真结果表明该预测算法简单准确 。
The model for the wireless multimedia transmission was analyzed; the relationship among source coding distortion Ds, the channel distortion Dc, and the rate distortion of the transmission system D were discussed; the emphasis was put on the algorithm of Dc. Based on the characteristics of the streams from PFGS coding, a simple and effective algorithm was proposed. Due to the combination of PFGS layered coding and Turbo coding with the overall multimedia transmission, the simulation results demonstrated that the algorithm was simple, efficient, accurate, and suitable for various wireless transmission environment.
