参芪放后方防治头颈部肿瘤放射后遗症的效果

Prevention and treatment of radiation reactions and sequelae in head and neck cancer patients with traditional Chinese medicine Shenqifanghou recipe.

目的 观察参芪放后方在防治头颈部肿瘤放射反应及放射后遗症方面的功效。方法 将 83例头颈部肿瘤 (鼻咽癌、扁桃体癌、舌癌 )患者随机分成两组 ,一组为中药加放疗组 (观察组 4 2例 )另一组为单纯放疗组 (对照组 4 1例 ) ,观察组患者在放疗期间 ,结合服用参芪放后方加减。观察两组患者放疗过程中放射反应及晚期放射后遗症情况。结果 观察组在放疗期间口咽粘膜反应 ,口干程度 ,颈部放射皮炎程度均较轻 ,晚期放射后遗症如张口度较好 ,颈部肌肉硬化程度较轻 ,与对照组对比 ,采用非参数检验差异有显著性(P <0 .0 5 )。结论 参芪放后方有防治头颈部肿瘤放射反应及放射后遗症的功效。

Objective To study the effect of trditional chinese medicine(TCM)Shenqifanghou recipe in preveting and treating radiation reactions and sequelae of the normal tissues in head and neck cancer patients after radiotherapy(RT).Methods Eighty-three patients with head and neck cancer(nasopharygeal carcinoma ,tonsllar fossa carcinoma and tongue carcinoma ) were randomly divided into the RT group(41 patients) and the RT+ TCM group(42 patients), they were all received RT, but the latter was treated additionally with Shenqifanghou recipe. The patients' acute radiation reactions and radiation sequelae in both groups were recorded and compared.Resulst The grades of the acute reactions of the skin and the oropharygdal mucosa menbranes, the dryness of the oral and orophrygeal mucosal menbranes, the trismus and the fibrosis of muscles and connective tissue in the RT+TCM group were lower than that in the RT group(p<0.05).Conclusion The chinese medicine Shenqifanghou recipe is effective in preventing and treating radiation reactions and sequelae of the normal tissue in head and neck cancer patients.
