On Marx's Value Determination Theory

马克思从劳动决定价值的角度,运用高度抽象的方法,对劳动为什么决定价值和劳动怎样决定价值进行了研究,其价值理论的精髓是提出了价值的本质是人们之间的社会关系。但马克思忽略了体现在物上的这种关系,使他的价值理论不尽完善。与时俱进,坚持和发展马克思价值理论,完善其体系,是经济建设的重大课题。

Marx studied why and how labor decides value and formed his labor value theory by using highly abstract methods. The kernel of Marx's value theory is that the essence of value is human relation in society. But Marx neglected the same kind of relation that embodies on matters, and left his value theory incomplete. Keeping pace with the development of the time, inheriting and developing Marx's labor theory and perfecting the theoretical system is still the great subject of economic construction.
