民事诉讼法制现代化是法制现代化的一个重要组成部分。从鸦片战争至今,中国的民事诉讼法制现代化大致经历了九个历史阶段,其主要特点有:外发型模式、曲折性、传统诉讼法律文化影响持续而深刻等。

Form the Opium War to now, Modernization of civil procedure legal system in China has gone through eight historical periods on the whole, and with the following peculiarities: belongs to Legal Modernization from outside, circuitous property, and traditional litigation legal culture's continuous and profound effects and so on.
