The principle of using high pressure water efflux to remove the scales is summarized. It is pointed out that it is one of the best ways to clear up the scales of equipments in sugar mill. Experience of using the high pressure water efflux to clear up the scales in this mill since 1989 is introduced and the methods to solve the problem of breakdowns are also discussed.
