This article discussed the importance of innovation education in universities, addressed that university libraries possessed the total conditions to develop such education, and came up with some measures which university libraries should take, including reforming the administrative system so as to promote the innovation in management, providing consultation and instruction for readers, constructing enlightened cultural atmosphere around the university; setting some courses such as liber information to expanse students' eyeshot, as well as improving the makings of librarians.
