中国共产党必须通过发展民主政治来有效维护执政的合法性,并通过发展党内民主来积极推动民主进程,发挥社会主义民主政治的优越性。民主制度的建设必须符合本国实际,关键是执政的中国共产党要坚持民主集中制,实施正确的领导,确保人民当家做主,在推动社会主义民主制度的建设上体现其先进性。

The Communist Party of China (the CPC) should develop democratic politics to effectively vindicate its ruling legality and develop democracy inside the Party to positively promote the people's democracy and give full play to the advantage of socialist democratic politics. The building of democratic system must accord wish the demand of the nation, and the key is how to maintain democratic centralism by the Party in power, how to lead correctly, and how to be real masters in the country. The CPC should present its exemplariness in promoting the democratic system.
